Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Purpose
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the circumstances in which a student may cancel their enrolment in a My German Language course and request a refund.
2. Cancellation Before the Course Starts
A student may request cancellation before the scheduled course start date where there is an authentic justification.
Where the cancellation request is accepted under this policy, the student will be eligible for a 100% refund of the applicable registration/enrolment fee.
3. Cancellation After the Course Starts
After the course has started, a student may request cancellation within the first three classes.
If a student is dissatisfied with the course and submits a valid refund claim within the first three classes, My German Language provides a 100% refund in accordance with this policy.
4. Cancellation After the First Three Classes
After completion of the first three classes, cancellation and refund requests are generally not accepted under this policy, except where My German Language determines otherwise based on the circumstances or where required by applicable law.
5. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend scheduled classes, without submitting an eligible cancellation request within the applicable period, does not by itself constitute a cancellation and does not qualify for a refund.
6. How to Request Cancellation or Refund

The student may be asked to provide sufficient information to identify the registration/payment, such as their name, registered email address, phone number, course name and payment details.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund has been approved, the refund will normally be processed within 10–12 working days.
The time required for the funds to appear in the student’s account may additionally depend on the relevant bank, card issuer or payment service provider.
8. Refund Method
Where practicable, refunds will be processed through the applicable payment method or payment channel used for the original transaction, subject to the procedures and requirements of the relevant payment provider.
9. Course-Specific Terms
Where a particular course, promotional offer or enrolment page clearly states additional cancellation or refund conditions, those conditions should be reviewed before payment and may apply to that specific offering, subject to applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
My German Language may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on the website with its effective date.
